The Ship
The MOBOS receiver on the ship uses the GPS satellites to determine its position [A].
The Divers
GPS position
Immediately after the MOBOS transmitter has issued the 1st alarm, it determines its GPS position [B] via the GPS satellite.
As soon as he has this data, he also sends it directly to the MOBOS receiver.
MOBOS-Screen
From its own position [A] and the GPS position [B] of the MOBOS transmitters, the receiver calculates the exact distance and direction to the aborted divers.
He displays this life-saving data in an easy-to-understand graphic on his screen.
After only 5 seconds, the MOBOS receiver receives the 1st alarm:
MOBOS-BILDSCHIRM:
Warnfenster mit Senderkennung und ID
Thanks to its compact dimensions, the MOBOS transmitter MTX-A fits into all common automatic life jackets – including children’s and SOLAS vests.
The permanently installed receiving station receives the emergency call from the driving person and evaluates it.
This data is sent via Bluetooth to a tablet that serves as a portable screen.
The tablet also fits into the smallest cockpit
The + in the middle of the circle is the ship, the arrow at the top points in the direction of travel.
The ship data can be seen at the top right of the MOBOS screen:
